We’re proud to extend our congratulations to the team at Abbeyfield Residential Care Home in Gosforth, Newcastle, who have successfully completed the STA Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) with PSN Training.
This nationally recognised qualification equips staff with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to respond confidently and effectively in emergency situations—skills that are especially vital in a care home environment. The course covered key areas such as CPR, use of an AED, managing unconscious casualties, and dealing with choking, bleeding, and shock.
Delivered on-site at their workplace, the training allowed staff to learn in a familiar setting, making the sessions more relevant and accessible. The commitment shown by the Abbeyfield team throughout the course was outstanding, and their dedication to ensuring a safe environment for their residents truly deserves recognition.
